We are happy to announce that the data-collection for the next iteration of SCANDAT has begun in Sweden.
This upcoming iteration, SCANDAT3, has several important improvements compared to SCANDAT2. The combination of more detailed temporal resolution of transfusions, 5 more years of data, as well as linkages to even more population and health registries, will hopefully enable us to answer even more questions about transfusion and donor safety.
More updates on the progress of SCANDAT3 and detailed documentation will follow.
